Si sono aperti il 7 maggio 2 nuovi bandi di Horizon Europe con cui la Commissione europea andrà a finanziare progetti di ricerca nell'ambito dei trasporti e della mobilità green, smart e resilient. I bandi sono contenuti nel Programma di lavoro 2023-2024 del Cluster “Climate, Energy and Mobility”, recentemente emendato.
L’obiettivo generale del cluster è di accelerare la duplice transizione verde e digitale dell'economia, dell'industria e della società europee al fine di conseguire la neutralità climatica in Europa entro il 2050.
Il budget disponibile è pari a 163,5 milioni di euro complessivi per le due call, entrambe con scadenza 5 settembre 2024:

- Safe, Resilient Transport and Smart Mobility services for passengers and goods (HORIZON-CL5-2024-D6-01)

Alcuni di questi topic sono inclusi anche nella partnership CCAM e 2ZERO, nell’ambito di Horizon Europe. L'obiettivo della partnership CCAM è creare un sistema di mobilità più incentrato sull'utente e inclusivo, aumentando la sicurezza stradale e riducendo al contempo la congestione e l'impatto ambientale. Il partenariato Towards zero emission road transport (2ZERO) mira ad accelerare la transizione verso una mobilità su strada a zero emissioni di scarico in tutta Europa.
